CARF International recently announced that Passages, Inc. has been accredited for a period of three years for:
- Community Employment Services
- Employment Supports
- Community Integration
- Organizational Employment Services
- Respite Services
- Supported Independent Living programs
The latest accreditation is the seventh consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to Passages.
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
Passages is a nonprofit organization celebrating 60 years of service in 2014. The organization’s locations include the Passages Creative Learning Center located at 333 North Oak Street in Columbia City and the organization’s administrative office is located at 301 West Van Buren Street, Suite 201 in Columbia City.
