Fort Wayne, Ind. — Easterseals Northern Indiana is now using Boostlingo to expand services to individuals and families with Limited English Proficiency through a grant from the national Easterseals office.
With funding from W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the national Easterseals office awarded a $25,000 grant to Easterseals Northern Indiana to support the use of Boostlingo interpretation and translation services. Boostlingo is an on-demand interpretation service founded in 2016. Services are provided around-the-clock in 300 languages. Staff will be able to access Boostlingo services via phone, website or mobile app.
Boostlingo will be used throughout Easterseals Northern Indiana, the parent entity of Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana and Cardinal Services. The service will improve and expand support for individuals and families served through Pre-Employment Transition Services, day services, on-site health clinics, Healthy Families, Head Start, Early Head Start and WIC.
