Indiana’s State of the State address recognizes people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“We are very pleased that Governor Eric Holcomb chose to mention Hoosiers with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the State of the State speech last evening,” said Steve Cook, President and CEO of INARF, in commentary about the presentation last night. “For years, we have sought recognition in the State of the State message, and this year is was achieved. Governor Holcomb offers comments on the workforce, including people with disabilities, and acknowledges Lieutenant Governor Crouch’s efforts in this area. I encourage you to watch a few minutes of this video, paying attention particularly to the reaction from the audience regarding the comments.”
We are thankful for progress being made in the state of Indiana!
