Growth Since 2020
Easterseals Northeast Indiana servers the area through three main locations:
- Until 2020, the Fort Wayne organization focused on Allen County and had been known as Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana since 1999
- In 2020, Easterseals Arc merged with Angola-based RISE Inc., and that location was known as Easterseals RISE
- In 2021, Easterseals Arc merged with Columbia City-based Passages Inc., and that location was known as Easterseals Passages
As of January 2025, all three locations operate as Easterseals Northeast Indiana.
Building a Network
In addition to expanding its service area through mergers, the organization announced an alignment agreement with Warsaw-based Cardinal Services Inc. in 2021. Through that agreement, what is now Easterseals Northern Indiana and Cardinal Services each maintained their own identities and Easterseals Northern Indiana Inc. was created to operate as a network parent organization.
Today, Easterseals Northeast Indiana and Cardinal Services collaborate closely with each offering services tailored to the needs of their communities. Easterseals Northern Indiana provides executive leadership, strategic guidance, and administrative support to both organizations.
